Black Beauty wins Best on Field

Solway View herd won best on field at Cockermouth Show for the second successive year. This year it was Solway View Black Beauty, following in her mothers footsteps last year.

Penrith Show

Solway View team wins Overall Champion and Reserve overall

Solway View Black Beauty took breed honours with Reserve Breed Champion going to a young bull Solway View Dexy.

Calf Show at Penrith Show

Solway View Energy, a six month old bull out of Cowden Princess by Bringlee Waldo took Championship prize in the Calf show.

Skelton Show

Solway View Black Beauty wins another Breed Championship.

Great Yorkshire Show 2009

1st and Reserve Female Champion

It was our first visit to the Great Yorkshire Show and Black Beauty ET took first place in her class and went on to take Reserve Female Championship too.

Interbreed Pairs

It was a great day for the breed when Solway View Black Beauty and Ballygrange Alex teamed up for the Interbreed Pairs, they took top honours winning the Blythwood Pairs Trophy.

Following in her mothers footsteps

Continuing on her winning streak , Solway View Black Beauty ET went on to take Overall British Blue Champion at this year's Royal Highland. That is two RHS championships in a row for Solway View herd - Broomfield Vivien won last year and now her oldest daughter has taken the Championship from her:

• British Blue Female Champion

• British Blue 1st in class

First Champion of Champions for Black Beauty

Fresh from her win at Northumberland Show, Solway View Black Beauty ET went on to take British Blue Championship and Best on field at the Lesmahagow Show.

Interbreed Team Award

The Solway View team of British Blues also took the the Overall Interbreed Team award with Solway View Black Beauty, Solway View Drambuie, Balzar Dancing Queen and Maidenlands Crystal.

Northumberland Show 2009

Interbreed Beef Champion for Black Beauty

Broomfield Vivien won Northumberland Show for the last two years but this year was the turn of her daughter Solway View Black Beauty ET who is following in her mothers footsteps by winning Interbreed Champion.

Border BBC Calf Show winners 2009

Solway View Dynamite ET is our Bringlee Sandy/Baron son born April 08. This was the first year that Connor has taken part and he led Dynamite to victory in his class as well as being crowned Male Champion.

Winning the heifer class was Solway View Drambuie ET - a showy heifer out of Broomfield Vivien and by Empire D'Ochain.

Solway View Drambuie wins 1st prize at Border BB Calf Show

Solway View Drambuie also teamed up with Parsonage  Drew to win the Progeny Pairs (Empire D'Ochain).
